As claims start to pour in, Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens said insured losses in Georgia from the January 28th snow storm is now estimated at $10 million. "This estimate includes damages to insured homes and vehicles," Hudgens said. "Losses now stand at $10 million." The estimate was based on claims activity reported to the Insurance Department by major insurance carries.
