Residents 'count our blessings' after tornado ravages Dundee
Monday, June 7th, 2010 Auto PropertyA tornado with winds up to 135 mph tore through the Dundee region, toppling trees, ripping roofs off homes and sending at least 11 people to the hospital with minor injuries Sunday. The tornado hit at 2:17 a.m., tearing a path five miles long and nearly a half-mile wide in spots. The 225,000-square-foot Cabela's sporting goods store had some relatively minor damage, and the storms inflicted more serious damage at nearby Splash Universe water park.
