A former North Providence town council president is set to admit to taking part in an insurance fraud scheme involving a local radio personality. Robert Ricci is scheduled to plead guilty Wednesday in federal court in Providence. Ricci has agreed to admit that he, former North Providence Councilman John Zambarano and insurance adjuster Vincent DiPaolo conspired with radio host Lori Sergiacomi -- known on air as Tanya Cruise -- to damage her home and submit bogus insurance claims worth just over $40,000. Ricci was not in office at the time.
