Officials in Windham canceled classes on Wednesday after a fleet of school buses were vandalized overnight.
Connecticut State Police said troopers responded to the M and J Bus Garage on North Windham Road on Wednesday morning after a worker arrived and noticed the vandalism. "One of the dispatchers came in early this morning and went to fuel a bus and noticed that a cap was missing, and there was dirt all over the inside and outside of the tank," said maintenance director George Whitney. The discovery set off a flurry of activity at the lot.
