Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 — “It’s unbelievable I came out of there,” says Nancy Devito, tornado survivor. She had seen photos of the damage but nothing compared to seeing what’s left in person of her Sarasota home. Nancy returned to her home Tuesday morning for the first time since Sunday’s storm that trapped her underneath her roof. “Doesn’t look like the same house,” says Nancy. She lived nearly 40 years in the home on Baywinds Lane, the same home that nearly killed her over the weekend. “I thought I was going to die,” says Nancy.
