School bus, deer collide in Coventry
Monday, December 5th, 2011 AutoA school bus filled with students collided with a deer in Coventry Thursday morning. The incident was reported on Route 31 near South River Road just after 7 a.m. Town officials said that some deer were traveling down a hill when the school bus approached the area. Officials said one of the deer made it, but a second crashed into the side of the school bus when the driver slammed on the brakes. One window was shattered and glass went flying into the bus.
