Semi flips over bridge on 190 ramp

State Police say it’s a miracle no one was killed, but there were some scary moments on the northbound ramp to the 190 Monday afternoon. The driver of a tractor-trailer lost control of his rig and flipped over, backing up traffic on the thruway for miles. Nothing but a mangled metal mess on the northbound ramp to the 190 remained. Police say a tractor trailer came off the eastbound thruway onto the ramp at a fast speed, causing the trailer to slide off the highway, crash through the guardrails and flip down the embankment, spewing its cargo of auto parts onto the highway below.
