Several Accidents Caused by Rain Sweeping through Valley
Monday, March 3rd, 2014 Auto PropertyClouds looking darker than usual along Franklin Boulevard Sunday, where Angela Carmo arrived outside of her Elk Grove home to find a grey Ford Explorer crashed into the edge of her fence. The car slammed into a power line, leaving more than 20,000 homes in the Elk Grove region went without power for several hours Sunday evening. “It looked like the pole was on top of him,” said witness Steven Gonzales.
“It’s just unbelievable,” added Troy Sanders. “I have no words for this. It’s just crazy.”
