Slick Highways Take Three Lives Over Weekend

Arkansans looked forward Monday to thawing out from a weekend-long freeze as many still dealt with ice on the roads and freezing drizzle. The snow and ice kept many Arkansans home for the President’s Day holiday weekend and was blamed for three traffic fatalities, one involving a highway truck that was putting sand on Interstate 55 in eastern Arkansas.
