A Southwest Airlines jet backing away from a gate at Logan Airport just after 7 a.m. Monday struck an empty parked JetBlue flight, according to Massport. There were no injuries on board the Southwest flight and no disruption to normal operations at Logan. "There was a little bump and the next thing I know the man beside me said ‘oh, we’re missing a wing,’" Marsha Mitchell Cardello said. The Southwest plane’s wing tip hit the horizontal stabilizer of the JetBlue plane.
