Storm Damage In NE North Dakota

Storm clean up is underway in Cavalier County after severe storms Fri. night. County Emergency Manager Karen Kempert reports roof damage to buildings in Langdon and wind damage to farm shops, outbuildings and grain bins. Hail also damaged vehicles. Power to Langdon was out for a time and Kempert says some rural residents remained without electricity Sat. morning. Power company crews were working to restore service. Kempert estimates that some parts of the county received 4-5 inches of rain.
