Surveillance Camera Catches Burglar Breaking Through Restaurant Wall

A burglar broke into a Mexican restaurant by busting through the wall of a vacant retail space next door. The burglary took place at Los Potrillos on Crescent Avenue in Eugene. The owner of the restaurant estimated damages and losses at $30,000, including a watch he purchased to celebrate the 3-year anniversary of his restaurant.Surveillance cameras captured footage of the man breaking in to the building through a back door around 4 a.m. Monday. The door led to an unfinished room adjacent to the restaurant.
