Toledo Windstorm Causes Auto, Property Damage

Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 Auto Property

High winds in Toledo and the surrounding area are causing problems today, including downed power lines, light poles blocking roadways, and power out to some schools, businesses and residences. The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission issued a travel ban in late afternoon that effected the turnpike from milepost 0 at the Ohio-Indiana border in Williams County to milepost 161.8 in Cuyahoga County. The ban originally was set to expire at 5 p.m., but has since been extended to 7 p.m.
