Tornado Rips Through Cameron, Indiana

Mike Trout has lived in Cameron his entire life. The 50-year old never saw a storm like the one that hit his hometown just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday. "I was standing in my garage looking out and I saw the sky starting to swirl, and I knew it was going to hit," Trout said. "We ran to the basement and for what seemed like forever, all we could hear was roaring and windows breaking." Like many of the estimated 100 private residences in Cameron, the damage to Trout’s house is extensive. Every window is broken. And a 2-by-6 piece of lumber was driven through a wall and into his home.
