In less than 24 hours, emergency officials saw more than 600 crashes in Mecklenburg County as a winter storm moved through the area. Some of those cars ended up at Hunter Auto and Wrecker’s tow lot. Ramps and bridges in Charlotte Wednesday morning were slippery. Winter weather caused many cars to end up in a tow lot. "Vehicles that just come in probably yesterday evening or this morning from the snow," said Sidney Howell of Hunter Auto and Wrecker.
