Several East Valley towing companies and body shops schemed to swindle customers by sending their cars against their wishes to other businesses and charging unnecessary and excessive fees, according to a lawsuit filed by a national insurance firm. Lee Watkins and Diversified Towing are among the defendants in the civil lawsuit filed in Maricopa County Superior Court by Infinity Insurance Co., an Alabama business that operates in Arizona.
