Lawrence County cleaned up and waited on word from Washington on Monday about whether areas hit by Wednesday’s tornado will receive federal disaster designation. “It could come any minute. We were hoping to hear before now,” said Hilliard Frost, Emergency Management Agency director for Lawrence County. “We feel a little better about it since it is in Washington.
