The winter weather that dropped as much as a foot of snow in many areas is believed to be the cause of a roof collapse in Saginaw Township. The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Monday morning at the K-Mart store at 5105 Gratiot Road. Police received a report of activated sprinkler system inside the store. When they arrived on the scene, they found the roof collapse. There was a water main break confirmed on the premises.
