Wind Damage Across Michigan From Downed Trees

Gusty winds caused power outages and damage to homes across the state this weekend. A strong wind storm Friday caused thousands of Consumers Energy and DTE customers to lose their power. Nearly 2,000 customers are without power in the Thumb area Monday morning, according to DTE. Lakeville Community Schools announced Columbiaville Elementary is closed Monday due to the power outage. Meanwhile, Consumers Energy reports only 12 customers in Isabella County are still without power Monday morning.
