A fire broke out at a gas station in Ellington after a woman hit a gas pump with her car on Tuesday. According to firefighters, the woman backed into the pump while trying to fill up. They say she may have hit the accelerator instead of the brake. The impact knocked the pump over, catching the car and the pump itself on fire. Another woman who was filling up her car at the time, said she heard the "woosh" sound, followed by a big ball of fire and just started running.
