Shonda Benton climbed into bed and was ready to relax early Monday morning when a knock on her front door ensured the single mother wouldn’t get any sleep. In her Pinehurst Street driveway, inches away from her home’s exterior, flames were spreading on top of the 2016 Nissan Versa she purchased in November. In the time since she walked inside, took ribs out of the stove, showered, turned the television on and lay down, Benton says an unknown person must’ve sat her car on fire. Benton never got back to her ribs. "I’m very angry," she said.
