Rappaport Consulting LLC is owned and operated by Robert Rappaport, who has a widely varied history in the field of fire investigation and has taken on many roles to suit clients. In addition to serving extensively in expert witness functions for attorney clients, Rappaport has also been called upon to instruct students in current fire investigation techniques, complete complex fire investigations, and many other tasks. Coming from a teaching background, Rappaport has an outstanding ability for speaking to audiences and being able to describe even the most complex of cases in a way that can be easily understood.

Our experience puts us in the unique position of having worked both with the public and private sector as well as ongoing involvement in the industry as a Chief Investigator. From this standpoint, we have full knowledge of fire investigations as well as an in-depth understanding of what it takes to be an effective communicator in a legal setting.

Unlike some fire investigation firms that are only able to perform certain functions, our services are comprehensive and attend to all needs that a client may have. The majority of our work is in an expert witness role, working closely with attorneys to provide unbiased testimony and identify both the strengths and weaknesses of a client’s case. We have worked with public and private attorneys, insurance companies, and other types of legal clients.
