FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHWESTERN COCHISE, SOUTHEASTERN PIMA AND NORTHEASTERN SANTA CRUZ COUNTIES... At 1256 PM MST, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.6 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring on many roads and washes in the warned area. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sierra Vista, Hereford, Whetstone, Huachuca City, Elgin, Fort Huachuca, Ramsey Canyon Preserve, Charleston and Coronado National Memorial. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Moson Rd from SR 90 and Hereford Rd. This includes the following streams and drainages...
