FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio and West
Virginia, including the following counties, in northeast Kentucky,
Carter and Greenup. In southeast Ohio, Gallia, Lawrence, Meigs and
Washington. In West Virginia, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie,
Tyler, Wirt and Wood.
* WHEN...Until 745 PM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from rainfall. Low-water
crossings may be inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1212 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible
in the warned area.

Parkersburg, Ashland, Ironton, Belpre, Point Pleasant,
Grayson, Gallipolis, Coal Grove, St. Marys, Pomeroy, Olive
Hill, Middlebourne, Racine, Forked Run State Park, Lake
Vesuvius, Carter Caves State Park, Vienna, Ravenswood, Paden
City and New Haven.
