FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Ohio and West Virginia, including
the following counties, in southeast Ohio, Gallia, Jackson OH,
Lawrence OH, Meigs and Vinton. In West Virginia, Braxton, Calhoun,
Gilmer, Jackson WV, Lewis, Mason, Northwest Nicholas, Northwest
Pocahontas, Northwest Randolph, Northwest Webster, Ritchie, Roane,
Southeast Nicholas, Southeast Randolph, Southeast Webster, Upshur,
Wirt and Wood.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An area of rain is expected to move across from the west,
stalling through tonight. Embedded thunderstorms will produce
locally heavy rainfall.
