10 AM PST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected above
1000 feet. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory,
snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to 5 inches. Snow
accumulations of 2 to 5 inches below 1000 feet and near the
coast.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest California.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 10 AM Thursday to 10
AM PST Friday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 10 AM
PST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.
