Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM PST SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast California, including the following
county, Inyo. Specifically, much of the Owens Valley.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will
take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 601 PM PST, local law enforcement reported flooding
ongoing in the warned area. Between 1 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen. The heavy rain has ended, but flooding will
continue for several hours until local drainage can remove
the excess water.

Lake, Portagee Lake Campground, Tuttle Creek Campground,
Keeler, Cartago, Independence Creek Campground, Sawmill Creek

Campground, Tinemaha Campground, Baker Creek Campground,
Glacier View Campground, Wilkerson, Browns Town Campground
and Millpond Campground.
