WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow at times. Additional snow accumulation through
Sunday of up to 6 feet above 8000 feet, and 1 to 3 feet above
6500 feet including Interstate 80. Additional Snow accumulation
Monday - Wednesday of 1 to 3 feet above 6000 feet, up to 6 feet
above 8000 feet.
* WHERE...Western Plumas County/Lassen Park and West Slope
Northern Sierra Nevada including Interstate 80 over Donner
Pass and Highway 50 over Echo Summit.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM PDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Reduced
visibility at times due to heavy snow.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Snow levels 5000 to 6500 feet rising to
around pass level Tuesday for a time.
