deaths occur in vehicles.
FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PDT TODAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. Several
reports of minor flooding impacting roadways, as well as some
reports of mud and rock slides from flooding in the foothills has
been received this morning.
* WHERE...Portions of central and northern California, including the
following counties, in central California, Placer. In northern
California, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn,
Nevada, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Solano,
Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba.
* WHEN...Until noon PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 936 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy to moderate
rain. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory
area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Elk Grove, Roseville, Vallejo,
Fairfield, Vacaville, Redding, Chico, Citrus Heights, Tracy,
Folsom, Turlock, Davis, Rocklin, Woodland, Ceres, Benicia and
Paradise.
