Pearl River At Jackson affecting Rankin and Hinds Counties.
For the Upper Pearl River...including Philadelphia, Edinburg,
Carthage, Walnut Grove, Lena, Kosciusko, Ratliff`s Ferry, Ofahoma,
Jackson...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, Water begins to impact approaches to
additional homes and businesses in the Byram area.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 24.1 feet.
- Forecast...With more water flowing into the Ross Barnett
Reservoir than was originally expected, the river crest has
been raise by 1 foot. The river is expected to rise above
flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a
crest of 31.5 feet early by Saturday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
