FOR SOUTHWESTERN WEST BATON ROUGE AND NORTHWESTERN IBERVILLE
PARISHES...
At 509 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ramah, or 13
miles southeast of Krotz Springs, moving west at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Maringouin, Rosedale, Grosse Tete and Ramah.
This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 128 and
142.
