FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central New York and southern Vermont,
including the following areas, in east central New York, Eastern
Albany, Eastern Rensselaer, Eastern Schenectady, Northern
Saratoga, Northern Warren, Northern Washington, Southeast Warren,
Southern Saratoga, Southern Washington, Western Albany, Western
Rensselaer and Western Schenectady. In southern Vermont,
Bennington, Eastern Windham and Western Windham.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms will produce 1 to 3 inches of rain
with isolated higher amounts. There is the potential for
standing water in low lying areas and scattered flash
flooding.
