FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM MST/1115 AM PDT/ THIS MORNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN MOHAVE AND SAN BERNARDINO COUNTIES... At 957 AM MST /957 AM PDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Needles, Arizona Village, Mohave Valley, Mojave Ranch Estates, Mesquite Creek, Highway 95 And I-40 and Willow Valley. This includes the following roads... State Route 95 in Mohave County between mile markers 228 and 237. Highway 95 in San Bernardino County between mile markers 54 and 60. Oatman Highway between mile markers 9 and 11. Interstate 40 in California between mile markers 133 and 147. Although rainfall has stopped in some areas, the risk for flooding remains. Continue to use caution.
