FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Idaho, including the following counties,
Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce and Shoshone. Portions of Southeast
Washington, including the following counties, Asotin and Garfield.
* WHEN...Through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Debris flows are possible in steep terrain and near burn scars.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- High levels of atmospheric moisture associated with the
remnants of Hurricane Hilary are forecast to impact the
central and lower ID Panhandle and extreme southeast
Washington. Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall are
possible Monday and Tuesday, with enhanced rainfall rates due
to embedded thunderstorms.
