FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, including the following
areas, Hartford, Tolland and Windham Counties. Massachusetts,
including the following areas, Bristol, Essex, Franklin, Hampden,
Hampshire, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, Suffolk and Worcester
Counties. Rhode Island, including the following areas, Bristol,
Kent, Newport, Providence and Washington Counties.
* WHEN...Through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may
become clogged with debris.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rainfall of 0.50 to 1.50 inches is expected.
