FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The Florida Keys. * WHEN...Tonight through late Saturday night, although the best chances for flooding rains will be on Saturday and Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Persistent areas of light to moderate rain will continue to streak across the Florida Keys tonight. Rainfall rates will increase on Saturday, approaching an inch or more per hour at times, as lines of scattered thunderstorms spread north across the island chain. Through the next 36 hours, storm totals at most communities will reach 2 to 4 inches of additional rainfall, with localized amounts of 6 inches or more possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
