FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM EST THIS
MORNING FOR MIDDLESEX, CENTRAL NEW HAVEN AND SOUTHWESTERN NEW LONDON
COUNTIES...
At 1110 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall
amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
