FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM EST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southern Delaware, including the following
county, Sussex.
* WHEN...Until 1145 PM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 500 PM EST, gauge reports indicated water rises along the
Nanticoke due to the heavy rain overnight. Flooding is
ongoing across portions of the warned area. Between 3 and 5.5
inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
