FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 AM EST THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following
county, Bergen and southeast New York, including the following
county, Rockland.
* WHEN...Until 745 AM EST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 611 AM EST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain. This is
causing urban and small stream flooding.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Hackensack River, Bear Brook, Herring Brook, Pocantico River,
Cherry Brook, Tenakill Brook, Mill Creek, Sprout Brook, Losen
Slofe, Overpeck Creek, Hudson River, Cresskill Brook,
Hirshfeld Brook, Passaic River, Berrys Creek, Sparta Brook
and Sparkill Creek.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
