The National Weather Service in Shreveport LA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
White Oak Creek Near Talco affecting Titus, Morris and Franklin
Counties.
.An active storm track will lead to several rounds of heavy rainfall
through Wednesday night. Rainfall totals around 5 to 7 inches will
be possible with locally higher amounts possible.
For the White Oak Creek...including Talco...Minor flooding is
forecast.
...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White Oak Creek near Talco.
* WHEN...From Tuesday evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding. Move livestock
and equipment to higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:30 PM CST Monday the stage was 3.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 18.0 feet
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.0 feet on 03/31/1990.
