FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM CST THIS MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes,
Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Claiborne, De Soto, Grant,
Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River,
Sabine, Union, Webster and Winn and Texas, including the following
counties, Angelina, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Marion,
Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith,
Upshur and Wood.
* WHEN...From 6 AM CST this morning through Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of ri12vers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A very active pattern will lead to several rounds of heavy
rainfall through at least Wednesday night. Additional
rainfall amounts of 3-5 inches are expected with locally
higher amounts possible.
