Widespread road closures across the area continue. Rainfall rates over the past 1-2 hours have been mainly 0.5"/hr or less, but over already saturated grounds. Scattered showers will continue off and on through tonight. ...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bastrop, Caldwell, DeWitt, Fayette, Gonzales, Karnes, Lavaca, Lee and Wilson. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CST. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 211 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Up to 7 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Most of this rain will come late tonight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
