FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM EST EARLY THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following counties, Cabarrus and Mecklenburg. * WHEN...Until 315 AM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1208 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate heavy rain of 1 and 2 inches fell earlier this evening. This has created urban and small stream flooding, which will continue over the next few hours as stream levels slowly recede. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
