For the Tonawanda Creek...including Rapids...Minor flooding is
forecast.
...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Tonawanda Creek at Rapids.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flood stage, lowland flooding of farm
areas along Tonawanda Creek between Rapids and the Tonawanda
Indian Reservation. Flooding may impact Fletcher, Burdick, Kirby,
and Tonawanda Creek Roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:31 AM EST Monday the stage was 12.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:31 AM EST Monday was 12.9 feet.
