The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Michigan...
Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County.
Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County.
.Increased water levels continue on the Grand River due to rain and
snowmelt last week. The crest on the Grand River is near Ada and
Grand Rapids and continues to work downstream.The Grand River at
Comstock Park will remain in minor flood stage through the weekend
and the Maple River at Maple Rapids through early next week.
...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Grand River near Comstock Park.
* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Abrigador Trail is underwater and minor
flooding of homes occurs along Abrigador Trail and Willow Drive.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:43 AM EST Wednesday the stage was 12.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:43 AM EST Wednesday was 12.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Saturday morning and continue falling to 10.9 feet
