If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in
low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
* WHERE...In New Jersey, Gloucester and Camden. In Pennsylvania,
Delaware and Philadelphia.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most
vulnerable roads along tidal waterways. Some partial or full
road closures are possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor coastal flooding will occur around
the times of the high tides through Wednesday morning, however
any additional impact are expected to remain limited after the
afternoon high tide. Increased fresh water runoff today may
lead to elevated water levels, especially along tidal river
tributaries. After the early Wednesday morning high tide, no
additional coastal flooding is expected through the end of the
week.
