Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following
county, Dallas.
* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor-drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain
due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small
stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will
experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and
2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
1 to 2 inches are possible.

Dallas, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, Carrollton,
Richardson, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Rowlett, Desoto,
Grapevine, Cedar Hill, Wylie, Coppell, Duncanville,
Lancaster, Farmers Branch, Balch Springs and University Park.
