Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County.
.Warm temperatures will melt snowpack and increase river flows.
For the Lower Humboldt...including Battle Mountain, Comus...elevated
river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt is possible.
* WHERE...Humboldt River at Comus.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Very minor lowland flooding along the
reach. No flooding in Winnemucca.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:15 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.1
feet late Tuesday morning.
- Action stage is 8.5 feet.
- Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
