Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone
to flooding.
Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.
A Flood Watch is also in effect through Friday evening.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County.
* WHEN...Until 200 AM HST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in
streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1045 PM HST, radar indicated moderate rain over eastern
Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1.0 inches per
hour. Rainfall is redeveloping to the south and is expected
to begin moving back into central and west Oahu in the next
hour or two. Stream levels also continue to run high across
the island.
- This advisory includes the entire island of Oahu.
