closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding.
* WHERE...Gulf-facing beaches, including the Matagorda
Peninsula, Brazoria County beaches, Galveston Island and the
Bolivar Peninsula.
* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coastal areas remain partially inundated
from Hurricane Beryl. Exercise caution while traversing
these areas to allow flood waters to recede over the next
several hours.
